Restaurant of The Week: I went to the Broad View Hotel, the east end of the city on Friday. The FOod HIt. It was a nice ambience, it reminded me of the writers room in Yorkville, Toronto. The bang bang shrimp, and the wet cucumbers were fire. It was giving a little taste of outside New York, so I appreciated that. A Brooklyn Bridge feel. I’m writing this at the Impact Kitchen. Mhmmmm.

**Aperol:** This week I got an Aperol at an work event at the REC Room in Toronto. It was a solid 7. It was crisp. It was exactly what i wanted and needed. Of course I asked him to make me his favourite drink, and he says Aperol…… I liked the glass, i was feeling a wine glass. Now for a date, I’m not sure i’d love the REC room. But I also think with the right guy, this first date could be amusing. But for a family night out, coming into the city, its got a lot going on in there. If they found my other pink coral hoka running shoe, its mine. Hoka’s are by far my favorite shoe.

Pics below. I had the Rb but they didn’t have very many options at the store tbh. I’m still not sure how i feel about the grey ones. I’m the type of girl to ask what the colour is called and base my decision on that lol. My nail colour this week, was “I’ve got the blues for red”, so i went with the darker and cool red colour. LOVE: Everything will work out in due time. Keep focusing on nourishing yourself, and being kind. The right decision is always your choice. Chose love, and love will chose you. Old friends are still friends, and sometimes a simple smile can be a start to a new chapter, or a seamless goodbye to old memories you’ll always cherish.

Observations: Someone said to me this week, that “are we really scared of uncertainty, or are we doing things because we can’t live without uncertainity”? Do we crave uncertainty without realizing it ? … But uncertainity brings mystery. I feel like uncertainity can be embraced with direction and trust in self. Are not thinking so much. Next time you go to the nail salon, ask the lady to chose a colour for you… and see what happens. I think that’s #cooluncertainty, when you post it tag me or #checkthebreeze so i can see it….. and let me know the colour’s name. It’s normally under the polish.

Song of the Week: Jealous by Future. The lyrics on this one hit, and the vibe. I’ve been strutin down king street with this one. I don’t know the beef between Drake and Future, but if they want to talk about it, i can definitely be the middle man in that, and share that here. Jay-Z is also a vibe, feel good music, feels like New York City, are we catching the pattern yet. NYC emoji.

Challenge and Intention: A challenge doesn’t last forever… 7 day no added sugar challenge is only 7 days not forever. ITs a good way to practice discipline, consistency, and know that you can do hard things. IT doesn’t always have to be cutting things out, what about a 7 day an workout challenge? I hear women, and men often talking about diet, its consumed our society literally lol. If you want to make change, then you need to do change. 7 day breathing challenge…. That could be a good one too. #Challenge Yourself This Week. I guess doing hard things…can actually make life easier…. A thought
