Hospitality Section Tips: Note to Servers reading .. before your table is sat, make sure there isn’t a large to go container under the outdoor table. For the “spot” in Yorkville I thought it wasn’t very clean. Clean rating: 6 It does have a great vibe and aroma, similar but different to the BISHA Hotel on Blue Jays Way, Toronto. Overall, i’d go back tomorrow, but some staff meetings or etiquette training would be of good use.
What not to get: vinegraitte salad…. no vinaigrette dressing.. it can be described as “a boxed spinach mix with a poor spread of toppings.”
Note to self: go with your initial choice. i wanted caesar salad from the start. Burrata salad and caesar salad have been the vibe this summer.

Caesar Salad Summer …. @ One Restaurant Toronto. Worth the $24 Check. If you can add shrimp, add it. Straight FIRE. My friend NT was visiting from Calgary and loved the caeser salad. She split half with me since it was so BIG. The Focaccia Bread was a hard crunch but moist with olive and the butter spread was mwah.
Service: the hostess’ and service was a below par. The Hostess’ weren’t very welcoming or friendly. And the server actually forgot to bring NTs mock tail.

Here are the two that I’ve made for two of my girlfriends this summer. 1. my friend SM who is staring on the Amazing Race Canada with her dad. 2. Visiting my friend EG in Burlington for the weekend - Oakville, Burlington, and Port Credit are the closest neighborhoods and feels (space wise & historical homes) as Connecticut, NY. If I were to raise my family in Ontario one day, Oakville, PC, and Burlington (the west side of the city) is much more calming and grounded feel than then east side & I grew up on on the east side of Toronto. The mum flowers for EG represents = friendship, rebirth and joy. Handwriting cards/notes are so thoughtful, and mean so much with so little effort required, beside what you chose to write haha.

Toronto vs New York: “is New York cleaner than Toronto” honestly Toronto is getting dirty.
If your looking for the closest feel to New York City while being in Toronto i’d say head right to this strip off Portland and King Street. Cafe Renée is one of the “hottest” restaurant this spring and summer that has opened in Toronto. The same owners at Ruby Soho which is just down the street.
Skincare Caviar: La prairie skin care …. First time hearing of this. Word on the street is they have private client and buyers who go nameless. Nameless enough where you can imagine the $$$ they spend to keep their skin looking and feeling like a Cannes Beach day, France. Some custom face creams are going for 3k.

Smash box: Is smash box back in ? I recently used their concealer sample something like “runway ready” and it transferred my under eye bags. Eyeliner…. I tried it real on brown & black from Shoppers and it spices up the look. If Bethany Franklyn only shops at drugstore and still looks that good… would you ?

I still on this issue, its pressing. Personal Trainers are always flirting, and for money. If your boyfriend is a PT, idk man. He’s got game. And ladies that have a crush on your PT, remember your not the only one. So if your going for him, you better think outside of the box, and give less. “Child Bride” : I heard this term this week…“ohhhh she’s a child bride”. Is this the new saying if you get married under the age of 25? I’m indifferent wit this one. When you know you know. IMO (in my opinion) as long as you are staying true to how you feel then all will work out. Feeling pressured or rushed to be with someone is not going to give you long term happiness. Here on CTB (Check the Breeze) its about the long term sustainable actions rather than Short Term, for most of the time. Equinox: On Friday my Metcon3 (best hit class at equinox, and most similar to what professional athletes train like IMO) said “how do you spend your time” and “what is eating up your time”. This can be mindless habits Iike scrolling, giving into a bad habit that takes away from your goals and dreams a.k.a bad habits are depression.
